- We Know Jack.

MOD episodes have no shelf-life or expiration date.  Our focus is principled so each episode reflects the immediate stability of our Present State of Knowing Awareness along with the unstable impressions manifest by ever-changing obsessive thoughts.

Sobriety is recovery from the insanity of symptomatic compulsive behaviors.

Emotional sobriety is the sane dissolution of the mental dis-ease of obsessive thinking that is central to all addictive behaviors.

Honestly facing the induced nature of
insanity dissolves the images and their haunting effects.

Obsessive thoughts are not an accident or a curse. They are a choice to think fantasy is reality and that lies can be or someday will be true - though never now or today.

To search endlessly for a lost cause that cannot be found is futile. To act as though always present cause can he lost is a choice. The right to think what we want does not make what we think right.

The Present is the Absolute State of
Conscious Awareness of all that Is, all that Are and all that is happening now. There is now/here else as we are connected to everything else. To think the Present is somewhere else is to deny reality and truth in favor of creating our own distinct brand. Feeling condemned is the natural consequence of trying to do what cannot be done.  This insane concept is reliant on freely choosing to utilize a thought thinking only of itself. Insanity is rooted in the disturbance of hallucination’s fractured versions of divergence.

Recovery from any compulsion lays bare other compulsions. Any relief from one compulsion serves notice of others.  Compulsions, one and all, are trying to escape the seemingly interminable nature of obsessive thoughts. The dis-easiness, discomfort, and disturbance of obsessive thoughts is the primary addiction to reactive, impulsive, and compulsive behaviors. Obsessive mental attachment is not a curse or accident. It is a repulsive mental “gag reflex or knee-jerk” automated reaction to the misuse of thinking that thinking is reality rather than imagined.  Problems with belief, expectations, judgments, and a host of other social ailments and relational conflicts result from this preoccupation with thinking that has no basis in reality.

It is not a coincidence that trying to feel better is common.  Asking what is worse that we want to feel better than is uncommon.  Common sense becomes uncommon within this reversed order of thought. Addiction attempts to turn impossibility into possibility, false into truth, and fantasy into reality. Aptly named mental and physical disorders are also reflections of these backward unhealthy attachments.

Trying to chronically feel better by avoiding what is worse ignores and reinforces what is mentally wrong. Constantly refilling a tire with air would be ridiculous if fixing the leak was possible. It is no different with obsessive, addictive, attachment to thinking. Honesty can only come from the experience we each have. While anyone can think they think they can tell us what or how to do what we do - they Av not and do not.  It is our prerogative to think as we do by choosing thoughts and getting exactly what we have - regardless of what we think we’re thinking.

Facing thought honestly as the cause of honestly dissolves obsessive problems rather than acting mentally defective trying to prove inner conflict will surrender as we continue to maintain it.

Carry on.
