- We Know Jack.

Tara is a strategic Communication Professional with over 20 years of experience delivering high-impact communication solutions. She has a Master of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, and Associate of Arts all in Communication Studies. Tara's experience includes Writing, Training, Curriculum Development, Change Management, Public Speaking and of course, Communication Strategy. Tara’s personal study passion is thoughts and all things thinking. Through all years of formal education in communications, Tara has not once come across a course in “self-talk,” so she brings it to the table in all of her endeavors.

This episode focuses on Step One of the Twelve Steps.  Since the disease of addiction is mental it is lying that is central to the reactive nature of obsessive thinking. To think lies have power is to think they are real and as their creator our seeming reality - who we think we are - becomes only what we think. Since lies attempt to reverse nature’s order then belief in them has us begin to think backward so right is wrong, false is true and stop means go and so forth:  meaning we couldn’t possibly be responsible for doing what we’re doing by causing the effects we claim to be happening to us.

Any thoughts?  We're happy to hear from you and answer any questions or pass on your ideas.
